You can charge by the hour for early check-in or late check-out, for example RM 7 an hour. Set one rate for the whole business, then each listing either follows it, uses its own rate, or does not offer it. Guests ask from their booking, you approve in Requests, then the guest pays.

How do I set the rate for my business?

Open Organisation, tab Payments, then Tax and billing.
Under Early check-in and late check-out, fill in Rate per hour (RM).
Fill in Most hours per request, the limit for one request, from 1 to 12. The default is 4.
Save. Leave the rate blank if you do not want to offer it.

Only business admins can change this setting.

How do I set a different rate for one listing?

Open Houses, choose the listing, then Edit.
In the Pricing section, find Early check-in and late check-out.
Choose Use business rate, Own rate for this listing (then fill in the rate), or Not offered.
Save.

What do guests see?

On the listing page, under House rules: the hourly rate and the hour limit.
On their booking, the add-on dialog has an Extra hours tab. They pick early or late and how many hours, and see the total, for example 3 hours x RM 7 = RM 21.

How do I approve a request?

Open Requests. The request shows as, for example, Early check-in (3 hours) with the price already worked out.
Check the hours fit around the booking before or after it.
Approve, or decline with a reason. Once approved, the guest is asked to pay.

Frequently asked questions

Is the guest charged automatically?

No. Nothing is paid until you approve the request.

Can a guest ask for more than the hour limit?

Not from that screen. For longer, the guest can extend by a night or contact you.

What if I do not want to offer it at all?

Leave the business rate blank. No listing offers it unless it has its own rate.
