Tag houses with a location

Create locations such as a condominium or area, then tag each house with its location.

The Locations page is a list of tags. A location names the place where a house is, for example a condominium, cabin complex or area. Locations do not hold listings, rooms or prices. All of that is managed on the house, under Houses.

Steps

  1. Open Locations, then press New location.
  2. Fill in the location name. Address, city and state are optional.
  3. Open Houses and press the house that is at that location.
  4. In the About the house section, choose the location in the location picker. The choice is saved straight away.
  5. Go back to Locations. Each row shows the number of houses and the names of the houses tagged with it.

What it does not do

  • Only houses can be tagged. Rooms and beds follow their own house.
  • A house has only one location at a time.
  • Deleting a location only removes the tag. Houses, rooms, beds and bookings stay as they are.
  • Locations do not calculate occupancy or rent roll. See Reports for figures by house.
