Connect your Anthropic or OpenAI account
AI features run on your organization's own key, so the cost lands on your account.
Writing a description with AI, writing the guest FAQ and reading a receipt photo call an AI model. That model is called with your organization's own API key, so the usage lands on your Anthropic or OpenAI bill and nobody else's.
Steps
- Open Settings, then AI connection.
- Choose Anthropic or OpenAI.
- Paste an API key from that provider's console, then press Save.
- Leave Model blank for the default, or name one.
Your key once it is saved
The key is encrypted before it is stored and never shown again, including to you. To change it, paste a new one. Leaving the field blank keeps the stored key.
Stopping the spend
Turn AI features on off to pause every AI feature without removing the key. Press Disconnect to delete the key outright.
The operations agent does not need it
The operations agent runs with no AI connection. It is a set of rules and calls no model, so it works whether or not a key is present.
Admins only
Only an organization admin can change this connection, because an API key is money.
