Set your organisation's payment methods and tax

Choose which payment methods are open, fill in your bank account, upload a QR and set tax.

These settings decide how guests pay you. You can open or close bank transfer, QR and cash, fill in your bank account details, upload a QR image, write instructions guests read at checkout, and turn on tax with your own rate and label.

Steps

  1. Open your organisation's account settings and find the payment settings section.
  2. Under Methods enabled, turn on the methods you actually accept: bank transfer, QR payment, cash on premises.
  3. Fill in Bank details: bank name, account holder name, account number, and SWIFT or BIC if needed.
  4. Upload your QR image. The image is shown directly to guests, so make sure it is clear and correct.
  5. Write instructions for guests, for example asking them to put the booking number in the transfer reference.
  6. If applicable, turn on tax, fill in the percentage rate and a label such as SST, then save.

How tax is calculated

When tax is turned on, it is added to the booking subtotal after discounts. Deposits are not taxed.

What it does not do

The system does not decide whether you must charge tax and does not recommend any rate. Consult LHDN or your auditor for that. It also does not verify bank account numbers, does not read the contents of the QR image you upload, and does not automatically match incoming money to bills.
