Publish your UrusPro iCal feed to other channels

The second step of two-way sync: without it, your direct bookings do not close dates on OTAs.

Every unit in UrusPro has one outgoing calendar link that carries a secret token. Pasting that link into Airbnb or Booking.com completes two-way sync.

Steps

  1. In UrusPro, open Calendar and choose the unit.
  2. Copy that unit's outgoing feed link.
  3. On the channel, find where to add an external calendar. On Airbnb it is under Availability, Sync calendars, Import calendar.
  4. Paste the link and save.

Look after that link

The outgoing link carries a token that lets anyone who has it read the booked dates for that unit. Do not post it anywhere public. If it is exposed, regenerate the link, then paste the new link into every channel.

Check it is working

The calendar page shows when each feed last succeeded. The operations agent raises a finding when a feed has been failing for a while, so you do not need to check it every day.
