Billplz and CHIP with UrusPro

What it does

• Gateway settings for each organisation: Billplz with a Collection ID and API key, or CHIP with a Brand ID and API key.
• Sandbox mode for testing and Live mode for real payments.
• Secret keys are stored encrypted and are not shown again after saving.
• Guests choose Pay online (FPX or card) and are taken to the gateway's payment page.
• Confirmation from the gateway marks the booking as paid, after it is checked against the keys of the organisation that owns the booking.
• Bank transfer, QR and cash stay as options. The guest uploads proof, and you approve it in Proof submissions.
• PDF invoices and receipts for bookings, with the receipt available after payment.

How to connect Billplz and CHIP with UrusPro

   Open a merchant account with Billplz or CHIP, and copy the API keys from their dashboard.

   In the UrusPro host portal, open Payment and choose the Online gateway tab.

   Choose Billplz or CHIP as the Provider, paste the keys, and choose Sandbox (testing) as the Mode.

   Switch on Enable online payment and press Save gateway settings.

   Make one test booking, pay through Pay online, and check the booking status changes to paid. Then change the Mode to Live (real payments).

Where it stops

• Billplz and CHIP only. Other gateways are not supported.
• UrusPro does not hold your money. Payments go into your merchant account, and gateway fees follow your agreement with that provider.
• The QR option shows a QR image you upload yourself. It is not a direct connection to any QR network, so QR payments are confirmed manually.
• Bank transfers and cash are not confirmed automatically from bank statements.

Frequently asked questions about Billplz and CHIP

Can UrusPro take FPX payments?

Yes, through Billplz or CHIP. Your organisation connects its own merchant account, and guests pay by FPX or card on the gateway page.

Whose account does the payment go into?

Your own Billplz or CHIP merchant account. UrusPro stores your API keys encrypted and marks the booking as paid when the gateway confirms payment.

Can I use my own bank QR?

Yes. Upload your QR image in payment settings, and guests upload proof after paying. UrusPro does not connect to the QR network directly, so you approve that proof yourself.

Are receipts generated automatically after payment?

Yes. Every booking has a PDF invoice, and a PDF receipt is available for the guest and host to download once the booking is paid.
