Booking.com with UrusPro

What syncs

• Nights booked on Booking.com are imported into the unit calendar as soon as the link is added.
• Active feeds are pulled again every 15 minutes, and the Sync button pulls them straight away.
• Booking.com nights close on the guest calendar and are blocked in the booking flow, and the database rejects overlapping bookings.
• Links from booking.com are recognised automatically as the Booking.com channel in the channel mix report.
• The rate Booking.com takes can be set for the organisation or for each listing, so the value of nights is reported net.
• Booking.com guests can be given a UrusPro account to see their booking, check-in instructions and smart lock code.

How to connect Booking.com with UrusPro

   From your Booking.com account, copy the iCal calendar export link for the unit you want to sync.

   In the UrusPro host portal, open Listing, choose that unit, and go to the Calendar sync section.

   Under Add iCal feed, type a source name such as Booking.com, paste the link, and press Add the feed.

   Check that feed's row for the number of events, the last sync time and any error.

   Under What each channel keeps here, fill in the percentage Booking.com takes for that listing.

Where it stops

• iCal carries dates only. Prices, guest names and payments from Booking.com do not come into UrusPro.
• The Booking.com fee rate starts empty until you fill it in, because UrusPro does not guess a rate it has not measured.
• Upcoming bookings made in UrusPro are not yet sent to the Booking.com calendar, so close those dates there yourself for now.
• Prices and availability are not pushed to Booking.com, and guest messages there are not read by UrusPro.

Frequently asked questions about Booking.com

Can UrusPro sync with Booking.com?

Yes, for dates, through the iCal link. Nights booked on Booking.com close on the UrusPro calendar and booking site. Prices and availability are not sent to Booking.com.

If a Booking.com guest cancels, do the dates reopen?

Yes, on the next sync. Bookings no longer in the Booking.com feed are removed from the UrusPro calendar, and those nights can be booked again.

Do UrusPro reports deduct Booking.com fees?

If you fill in the rate. The Booking.com percentage is set for the organisation or for each listing, and the channel mix report uses the net value after that rate.

Can one unit have Airbnb and Booking.com feeds at the same time?

Yes. Each unit takes several iCal feeds, and each feed closes its own nights on the same calendar.
