TTLock with UrusPro

UrusPro and TTLock connect through your organisation's own TTLock developer account. Once a lock is matched to a unit, UrusPro generates a time-limited door code when a booking is paid, valid from 3pm on check-in day to 12 noon on check-out day. The guest sees the code on the booking page, and the code is deleted when the booking ends.

What it does

  • A connection to your organisation's TTLock account, with the token stored encrypted and renewed automatically before it expires.
  • The lock list is pulled from TTLock and each lock is matched to its unit.
  • A time-limited code is generated automatically when a booking changes to paid, if that unit has a lock.
  • The code is valid from 3pm on check-in day to 12 noon on check-out day, Malaysia time.
  • The host can generate a code for each lock on a booking, including a second door, and send it to the guest's WhatsApp with the Send to guest button.
  • The guest sees the code, its validity period and a countdown to when the code starts or expires on their booking page.
  • The code is deleted from the lock when the booking is cancelled, completed or the guest does not show up.

How to connect TTLock with UrusPro

  1. 01

Get the clientId and clientSecret from your TTLock developer console.

  2. 02

In the UrusPro host portal, open Smart locks, fill in the clientId, clientSecret, username and password, then press Connect TTLock.

  3. 03

Log in to the TTLock app with the username UrusPro shows, and pair your locks there.

  4. 04

Go back to Smart locks and press Refresh from TTLock to pull the lock list.

  5. 05

Match each lock to its unit, then press Test the passcode on one row to try a code before the first guest.

Where it stops

  • TTLock only. Other smart lock brands are not supported.
  • You need your own TTLock developer account. UrusPro does not provide the locks, gateway or that account.
  • Code hours are fixed at 3pm to 12 noon for every unit, not yet following each listing's check-in time.
  • Automatic codes are generated for one lock per unit. A second lock needs the Generate passcode button on the booking.
  • Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda bookings do not generate codes on their own. The host generates one on that guest's booking.
  • Deleting a code early is sent through the TTLock gateway. A code that is not deleted still expires at check-out time.

Frequently asked questions about TTLock

Can UrusPro be used with TTLock?
Yes. Your organisation connects its own TTLock developer account, matches locks to units, and UrusPro generates a time-limited door code for each booking.
When does the guest get the door code?
When the booking changes to paid, the code is generated and shown on the guest's booking page. The host can also send it to the guest's WhatsApp with the Send to guest button.
What happens to the code when a booking is cancelled?
UrusPro deletes the code from the lock through the TTLock gateway when the booking is cancelled, completed or the guest does not show up. A code that is not deleted still expires at 12 noon on check-out day.
Can one unit have more than one lock?
Yes. Each lock has its own code on the booking. The automatic code is generated for one lock, and other locks are generated with the Generate passcode button.
