Staysini.my alternatives for homestay operators in Malaysia

Staysini.my builds booking sites for homestays and campsites: Recommended at RM 30 a month or RM 300 a year, Advance at RM 100 a month or RM 600 a year, with no commission. It is built for nightly bookings. UrusPro runs monthly rentals in the same system: first listing free, then RM 10 a month per homestay listing and RM 3 per room.

What Staysini.my's own site says

  • Staysini's pricing page lists Recommended at RM 30 a month or RM 300 paid once, and Advance at RM 100 a month or RM 600 paid once.
  • Paying once a year is listed lower than twelve monthly payments: RM 300 against RM 360, and RM 600 against RM 1,200.
  • The limits are counted in homestays: the Free and Recommended plans are listed for one homestay, and Advance for up to three.
  • The page states a 30-day trial for the first 20 sign-ups, reverting to a 7-day trial afterwards, with no credit card.
  • They list a Launch Package set up by their own team, from RM 600 for a year of Recommended and from RM 1,000 for a year of Advance.
  • The page states 0% booking commission, and the product covers campsites and glamping as well as homestays.

Why Malaysian operators look for something else

  • The limits are counted in homestays, so an owner letting rooms one by one has to redo that arithmetic for their own units.
  • A monthly tenant is not a nightly booking: rent schedules, deposits, utility bills and agreements do not fit in a booking site.
  • An owner mixing homestay and monthly rooms in the same house does not want two separate systems for one building.
